Claimed to be the safest country in the world by the New York-based research and analysis website, ValuePenguin, Switzerland has an impressively low level of knife attacks. The country has a reputation as being a safe, welcoming country which focuses on precision and has an approach to the rule of law to match.
What I have found however is that it is Switzerland’s collective attitude towards life which has arguably the most impact. This is not just a country of law-abiding citizens, knowing that if they stick to what is right they will be able to sleep soundly in their beds. It is the fact that they know if their neighbour does the right thing too, it will be better for them both.
